Dr. Laura Landman bought San Anselmo Animal Hospital from Dr. Erteman in 2015, after working alongside him since 2012. Her special veterinary interests include: pet dentistry, pain management and preventive medicine. Dr. Landman is originally from the Boston area, where she attended Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine and earned a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and a Masters of Public Health, concurrently. After graduation, Dr. Landman served as a Captain in the US Army working with privately-owned animals as well as Military Working Dogs. Dr. Landman has worked in several small animal practices in the Northeast, including a feline-only practice, before moving to California. Dr. Landman is a member of the California Veterinary Medical Association, the Marin County Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Dental Society and the American Association of Feline Practitioners, among others.
She is an avid hiker and coffee and wine enthusiast. Dr. Landman is thrilled to be living among the best hiking in the world and has truly found her home at San Anselmo Animal Hospital. She lives in Marin with her cats and her rescue dog, Pinky.
Dr. Anderson was born and raised in the Bay Area. In 2012, she received her veterinary degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California. She spent the next four years practicing in Santa Rosa, where she concentrated on soft tissue surgery. For the last three years, she has been working in Marin County and enjoying the lack of commute. Dr. Anderson is a San Anselmo resident and is very excited to work in her community. Her two children, Reynold/"Ren" (age 6 years) and Alice (age 4 years), and her husband Mark enjoy living in this beautiful community. They enjoy hiking, BBQing on their deck, and biking through their neighborhood. Her veterinary interests include: soft tissue surgery, dermatology, internal medicine, senior care, and orthopedics. Dr. Anderson is Fear Free certified.
